The Skills of the Warrior
The Warrior skills are separated into three categories: Arms, Fury and Protection. Skills from the Arms category aim at increasing the Warrior's damage with a single two-handed weapon. The most important skill of this talent tree is Mortal Strike. This instant attack deals a lot of damage and reduces the healing received by the target by 50%. Another important arms skill, introduced with Wrath of the Lich King, is Bladestorm. The Warrior will do spinning attacks damaging anything in his melee range while he cannot be stopped unless he is killed. Another important skill for the Arms Warrior is Overpower. While Overpower originally was rarely used, as it could only be used after the enemy dodged an attack, the new talent Taste for Blood made this skill much more available.
The Fury Warrior is able to train the skill Titan's Grip, which is probably one of the most powerful skills in World of Warcraft. Training this skill gives the Warrior the ability to wield two two-handed weapons at once, greatly increasing the Warrior's damage and completely changing his playstyle. While Titan's Grip is not an active skill, it is one of the most defining Fury Warrior skills. An active skill in the Fury tree is Bloodthirst. This instant attack allows the Warrior a certain amount of self helaing.
The Protection Warrior's signature skill is Devastate. This instant attack combines Sunder Armor with a strong melee attack, dealing massive amounts of damage and making sure the enemy keeps attacking the tank. The final skill in the talent tree, Shock Wave, allows the Warrior to keep large groups of mobs under control.
